Akai Remote Controls are suppliers of quality replacement remote controls for various Akai equipment, ranging from TV's, audio / Hi-Fi systems and DVD systems.
All of the remotes supplied by Akai Remote Controls are "Classic" branded copy remote controls that carry out all of the operations of the manufacturers original remote. Please note that all of our remote controls are not so called "Universal" remotes. We decided to cease supplying Universal remotes back in 2004 due to the lack of functionality they carried out. The remotes we supply are not required to be programmed, simply insert batteries and your remote will be ready to function with your system.
Akai Remote Controls is a division of SMG Development, a U.K. based mail order remote control company. We have been supplying replacement handsets throughout Europe since 2004.
